Trimming your beard may seem like the hardest thing to do, especially after all the hard work and effort put into trying to get those beard gains. However, there are certain situations that call for a trim.
Here is a list of some of the telltales that it may be time to bring out the beard trimmers:
- When you find food (or foreign objects) in your beard:
If you are privileged enough to have a full, long and thick beard, then you are probably aware of how tasking eating can become once food particles and soup start to trickle down into your beard. Getting these out without a proper wash can be close to impossible. Trimming your beard will take care of this problem.
- When it gets musty! :
If you ever notice a smell emitting from your beard, then it is time to shave! This smell can arise from multiple things including the food particles and sweat build up on a hot day. Trimming makes it easier to manage your beard hygiene. Wash & apply your beard balm and oil after the trim and you’ll be good to go!
- When your beard is unhealthy:
Growing a full beard doesn’t always mean that you have healthy hair. Even if you follow your beard care routine diligently, you are still going to have split ends. Neglecting to trim these split ends can be detrimental to your beard hair health.
- When you want to change your look:
Every once in a while we all get the urge to switch up our usual look. Trimming your beard is an easy way to do this. You can always grow out your beard then trim it again. This allows you to try out different lengths and looks and keeps people guessing!
Remember to wash and moisturize your beard through the trimming process!
Mandevu’s got you through the trim!
